Gloves and Doves builds connections and lasting relationships between Jewish and Arab youth in Israel through boxing, promoting the message of peace and unity

MONDAY 5 FEBRUARY 2024

Arnold Ash, the executive recruitment specialist, has partnered with the Gloves and Doves boxing programme.

Gloves and Doves works to build connections between Jewish and Arab youth in Israel, helping them to gain life skills and self-confidence, and to pursue their dreams and build a greater future.

The initiative was founded by former professional boxer Tony Milch in 2018 to use sport as a way for Jewish and Arab youth to form lifelong relationships with one another, with boxing uniquely fostering respect among its competitors.

Milch, who had a 16-bout professional career before retiring in 2018 with a record of 14-2 to focus full-time on Gloves and Doves, said:
“We’re thrilled to welcome Arnold Ash to the Gloves and Doves family. I’ve known Jon a long time and his enthusiasm for boxing and our mission means they are the perfect partner to help us achieve our aims. With their support and the help of the World Boxing Council, we are proud to continue our mission.”

Arnold Ash is an executive recruitment and talent advisory business that provides integrated talent solutions to many of the leading operations and suppliers within the betting and gaming industry.

Through the partnership, it will help to fund Gloves and Doves, and offer operational support through its CEO Jon Arnold.

Arnold has a long connection with the sport. An experienced and accomplished boxer, he has trained the industry fighters taking part in the SBC Boxing Championships, and founded the boxing team at Solent University, going on to earn full colours.

Arnold said: “As someone who knows the physical and mental benefits of boxing, I am hugely excited to be involved with Gloves and Doves.
“I’m also committed to driving social impact through business success so look forward to contributing my expertise and backing the initiative’s work to promote unity and positive change through boxing.”

The next Gloves and Doves event takes place in Isfiyah, Israel, on Thursday 18 April 2024. For details see here.

A JustGiving page has been set up to support the Gloves and Doves mission, to cover training, event costs, and help youth with travel and training expenses:
